Description
The Bay Hotel was an upscale hotel on Apogee’s waterfront, and the fourth building that burned down in a series of mysterious fires that have occurred over the last month. The Apogee Bay Hotel received visitors all over the world. The hotel was built in a Victorian style, and kept clean by a retinue of hotel staff. Other than hotel rooms the site held a pool area, three conference rooms, a five-star restaurant, and garden with a pavilion for outdoor events. The conference rooms and the restaurant were frequently booked for events from corporate conferences, to wedding receptions, to high school proms.

The hotel closed last week after the building burned to the ground while hosting a dinner reception. The fire department was able to respond quickly. Although, most of the structure was ablaze by the time the firefighters reached the hotel However, despite the firefighters best efforts and the use of the fire department’s strongest spirits, they were unable to stop or even slow the inferno as it consumed the building.

The site of the hotel is now a pile of ash and melted steel. Even fire-retardant materials such as glass and concrete were consumed in the disaster. Police have been investigating the cause of the fire, and have concluded the hotel fire and three previous cases to be instances of spirit-aided arson. However, the identity of the culprit or culprits behind these incidents remains unknown.
